The Hollander
In 1964, an acceptable Dwarf Lop rabbit was created using small French Lops, Netherland Dwarfs, Dutch and English Lops.  In 1975, the Netherland Dwarf Lop was brought into the United States and it took 5 years before the ARBA accepted the breed.  To avoid conflict with the already breed of Dwarf, the breed received it's new name in the United States as Holland Lop.
The Holland Lop's head, or skull, is very different than that of the other Lop breeds. It is more apple shaped with shorter ears.
MY THOUGHTS
Holland Lops are the smallest of the Lop breeds, developed after the Mini Lop to have an even smaller Lop eared rabbit.  Many in the breed will be very affectionate and seek attention from their owner, where others may desire entertaining their owner with their excitable antics and push away from handling.
The Holland Lops small size doesn't require a large cage or special flooring.  They can be quick and hard to catch when out on the run during playtime, but can also sit beside you and cuddle.  Their fast and large growing head can lead to improper teeth growth.  Periodic checks on their teeth need to be done to ensure proper alignment.  As with many small breeds, Holland Lops can tend to be more hyper and not want to be handled a lot. Some Hollands can attach more toward one owner and prefer not to share their affection with other family members or other pets.
